LAUSANNE - One of the highlights of the billiard year 2018 is Dick Jaspers 40 point game in 4 innings (world record). The World Champion showed his brilliant form again in Lausanne winning a match against Jérémy Bury, 40-13 in 7, averaging 5.714. With two wins and 3.200 on the first day, Jaspers already secured his place in the quarter finals. Torbjörn Blomdahl also achieved the maximum match points. Marco Zanetti and Martin Horn won their first match in the group.
Jérémy Bury finished with a good average against Jaspers (40-13 in 7, 1.867), the Frenchman won his first match against Murat Naci Coklu (40-36 in 26) and faces Dong Koong Kang to reach the knock-outs . Jaspers also won his match vs Kang (40-29 in 18) in his first of the day. Kang and Bury play for the second place and Coklu is eliminated after one day. In the high-class match with Bury, Jaspers ran an 11 during the match and finished with a run of 10.
