Javier Palazón showed up with the best performance.

MADRID - In the Spanish three cushion league for clubs the third round was played this weekend. Javier Palazón was the most outstanding player and the absolute star in the team of Valencia with a match that he won against Jordi Garrriga (40-18 in 13 innings, 3.077 average). Yet, his team failed to win against Mataro.

The Spanish champion Coral Colon recorded a big win at Catalunya. Dani Sánchez and Sergio Jimenez fought a hard battle with evantually a victory for Dani 40-38 in 26 innings. José María More and Carlos Crespo both won in 27 innings vs Yeste and Bouterin.

The Madrid school foursome took the highest overall average (1.314) with Ricardo Garcia, Adrian Legazpi, Rubén Fernández and Valentín Andaluz, which beat Ayamonte 6-2. Adrian Legazpi was the team's best on average with 1.739.

Casino Cartagena started in Group E with a 8-0 win over Madrid BC and good individual performances by Juan Zapata and David Martinez.
