The UMB (World billiards federation) has announced the following news during the CEB congress in Brandenberg an der Havel:
,,Jean-Claude Dupont resigns as President of the UMB.''
,,The President of the UMB, Mr. Jean Claude Dupont, announced his retirement from the UMB Presidency today for health reasons.
The UMB Committee has acknowledged this decision and wishes to thank Mr. Dupont for his efforts for Billiard Sports. The Committee wishes him all the best in the future.
During the General Assembly held on May 1st, 2015, at Brandenburg, Germany, the European Billard Confederation unanimously, with all National Federations, presented Mr Dupont with an Honourary Membership of the CEB.
The UMB Committee will take constitutional measures to assure the continuation of its activities, further information will be available in the near future.''
