Jean Paul de Bruijn: the maximum run of 180 at the small billiard.

MAASDAM - The Dutch billiard player Jean Paul de Bruijn has made a spectacular run in the discipline one cushion during a tournament of De Pothoorn in Maasdam, Holland.

In a match for the preliminaries against Reijer Koot from Alblasserdam, the former European champion De Bruijn finished his match of 180 caroms at the small billiard (2.30) from the breakshot.

The Posthoorn's tournament is played for the thirteenth year. Never before a match was played in one inning. Jean Paul de Bruijn plays for the team of Etikon together with Patrick Niessen and Eddy Leppens. The Belgians and the Dutchman have easily qualified in group C for the quarter finals, which are played on Saturday, June 18. The final is Sunday, June 19.

Jean Paul de Bruijn finished the preliminary round with an average of 41.53. Eddy Leppens and Patrick Niessen kept the average of the team on a high level. Leppens, for the first time in this tournament, played 25.71, Niessen 23.47.

Etikon has qualified unbeaten. The Terminators was the number second in the group.
