The French podium after the artistic with Jean Reverchon on top

RONCHIN - Jean Reverchon and no one other than he showed himself the boss again of French artistic billiards. The Parisian took already his fifteenth (!) national title in Ronchin this weekend where the Multi's were closed. The victory in the final against Kevin Tran was impressive: 3-0 with a 88 %score.

Reverchon was in great form in the decisive match: with a 100 percent in the first set (65-41), followed by 51-35 (out of 65) and 56-43. In the run up to the final match he also defeated the president of the French billiards federation, Jean-Paul Sinanian, 3-0 (74 % vs 55 ), Michael Hammen 3-1 (71 % vs 64) and Jean-Luc Miller in the semi-finals 3-0 (75 % vs 54).

Twelve sets won against one loss in four games: Jean Reverchon (Morangis) demonstrated he was so much better than all his opponents this weekend with an overall performance of 76.67 percent. That is exceptionally high.

Kevin Tran had to relinquish the title he took in Saint-Maur last year. He finished with the silver medal, 66.03 percent and victories over Patrice Creuzot (3-0 and 60 %), Jean-Luc Miller (3-2, 65 %), Michael Hammen in the semifinals (3-1 and 73 %).

The organizations of the French Multi's, in Ronchin and Frâches-Thumesnil were thanked at the end for their huge contributions during the eight-day tournament, just like the team Kozoom (Lorenzo, Yannick and Didier ), responsible for the live broadcasts of all matches.
