Jeffrey Jorissen made a run of seventeen in Vllaardingen

VLAARDINGEN - The victory of Jeffrey Jorissen in the eighth final against Dave van Geel was surprisingly, but even more conspicuous was the high run of the young player. He won the match 50-38 in 33 innings with a run of seventeen on his way to the finish.

In the eighth finals, four of the eight matches were played until now: Dick Jaspers won his match against Wilco van Wijk, Jean van Erp defeated Ruud Hölscher and Jan Arnouts won the local derby against Barry van Beers.

For Dick Jaspers matches far above 2.000 average are not abnormal anymore. Against Wilco van Wijk he made the fifty caroms in eighteen innings with an average of 2.777. Jaspers had only two misses in his eighteen innings.

Jan Arnouts dominated his match against Barry van Beers, had 48 points in 27 innings, but still needed eight innings for his two last caroms. Jean van Erp had a breakaway with seven points at the end of his match against Ruud Höscher and won 50-40 in 39 innings.
