DORTMUND - The German league in the Bundesliga three cushion is starting off the new season with even more world class players. The league starts on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of September. The new rule for foreign players (two per team) got as a result that many teams come to the race with title ambitions. The schedules and team line-ups in the top and the second liga were announced yesterday.

Besides already known world class players such as Torbjörn Blomdahl, Frédéric Caudron, Eddy Merckx, Marco Zanetti and Dick Jaspers, some new players make their debut in Germany. The BC Elversberg attracted Jérémy Bury as a player from the world's top ten and now has a team with a huge foreign worth: Frédéric Caudron, Jef Philipoom, Peter Ceulemans and Michael Nilsson.

Raimond Burgman will play for GT Buer, so the team may be considered as one of the favorites after Stefan Galla's transfer and with Anno de Kleine. Eddy Merckx, Henk Habraken and Barry van Beers are the foreigners for BSV Velbert, Bergisch Gladbach has strengthen with Greek player Nikos Polychronopoulos.

Murat Tüzül is one of the leading players in the second league, in which presumably Lütfi Cenet makes his debut for Mannheim.
The big favorite is BC Munich, with Marco Zanetti on the number one position and Johann Schirmbrand, who made his transfer from BC Elversberg.

And also promoted Landau will strongly present itself with Colombian Robinson Morales-Lopez and Gerhard Kostistanzky.
