COURBEVOIE - The French top team La Baule, strengthened by Frédéric Caudron, Jérémy Bury and Jean Paul de Bruijn this year, also won the second match for the team league after the victory at the start against the reigning champion CetSi Morangis. Courbevoie was defeated 6-2, including Bury's great performance: 50 in 18 innings and a 16 run. The general average of La Baule was 1.447.

Jérémy Bury launched himself with a flawless run of sixteen against Jean-Jacques Boudin and built up the lead to a 50-25 in eighteen innings. Thereby he was the best of the match: 2.777 average.

Frédéric Caudron and Francis Foton took a slow start with 13-13 in 17 innings. The first and decisive breakaway came from Caudron with 12 in the 18th inning. A second attack with nine forced the final gap to 50-37 in 31.

Jean-Paul de Bruijn dominated the match against Jorge Amilcar 50-27 in 29 innings after scores between 18-5 in 10 and 39-16 in 20. Joel Switala could not share in the success of the top guns: the team boss lost to Bruno Videau 50-44 in 54 innings.

With four points out of two matches, La Baule leads the table followed by Laxou with two points. CetSi and Laxou play the next match in this group on November 9.
