LAXOU -  The French clash, in the first session of the match between Laxou and Courbevoie, that's played this evening in the billiard center of Laxou, has ended in a draw and opens the way for a sensationel final. Jérôme Barbeillon played a great match for Courbevoie against the young talent Thierry Amar (Laxou) and won 50-35 in only 25 innings. That means an average of 2.000 for Barbeillon and 1.400 for Amar.

The other match ended in a victory for Laxou. Pierre Soumagne beat another French talent, Eric Tromas: 50-31 in 35 innings (averages 1.428/0.885).

The score after two matches between Laxou and Courbevoie therefore is 2-2. Later this evening Torbjörn Blomdahl (Laxou) meets Daniel Sánchez, who makes his debut for Courbevoie. And Martin Horn (Laxou) will play against Eddy Leppens in the second session of the day.
