John Tijssens entertains audience with high-speed match

ZUNDERT - With an excellent John Tijssens in the arena Dekker Keukens has won the match against Twentevisie tonight 6-2. The team now totalises three match points, two more than Delta, one less than Van Donge en De Roo in this group, from which two teams will advance to the semifinals.

Delta against Twentevisie is the decisive match in this group tomorrow. Delta can not afford any misstep after losing to Van Donge tonight.

Dekker Keukens grabbed his chance with wins of John Tijssens, who won his match against Dave van Geel in a great speed, Jef Philipoom and Gerwin Valentijn. Tijssens, who's gonna build a new house with an own billiard home, impressed the most. He defeated his opponent 3-0 and played an average of almost two.

Gerwin Valentijn needed a strong finish in the third set against Thorsten Frings: 15-11 in eight innings, which lecd him to a 2-1 win. Jef Philipoom showed himself better than Anno de Kleine: 2-1. Hans van der Wurf lost to Stefan Lenting 3-0.

Snellen Recycling saved an important point in the match against Crystal Kelly. Peter Ceulemans restrained Frans van Kuik (2-1, 1.95 average), Harry van der Ven defeated Raymond Ceulemans, 2-1.

Roland Forthomme couldn't find his rhythm against Frédéric Caudron (3-0) and Raimond Burgman's win (2-1 against Barry Beers) made that Crystal Kelly ended up to 4-4 against the home team. Both teams remain in the lead in this group with three match points, DBL Holland has one point less.
