Two other matches in te second round of the day were decided in three sets. Kyung-Roul Kim made a nice end to the adventures of Jean van Erp, who enjoyed every carom he conjured out of his cue today, but he realized that the Korean was a size too big. The scoreboard showed that out: 3-0, sets 15-10, 15-14 and 15-8, 1.800 average for Kim, 1.391 for Van Erp, who only missed an important point in the second set to fight himself into the match.

Daniel Sánchez disturbed the illusion of Jéréemy Bury to improve his tenth place in the world ranking. The battle was not of the highest level. The Spaniard took all three sets, 15-10, 15-14, 15-7.

The fourth winner of the day will come from the match between Frédéric Caudron and Sung-Won Choi.
