Mehmed Aksoy, shining star on the second day.

ANTALYA - The German Olaf Reifflin, who's popping up in all kinds of billiards tournaments for years, told his friends this evening that the world record worst match is since 1995 in his hands. He played that match in a BWA World Cup in Istanbul, where he ended up 0.196 average!!

,,It's an honnor to give the red light now to somebody named Kyung-Hui Oh'', Olaf said tonight. Of course the match will not be published in world record books, but if it was, the 'record' of the Korean, in daily life the coach of the young talent Myung Woo Cho, would stay there for ever.

Kyung-Hui Oh had a terrible day and only marked her match with misses (to speak with the famous cyclist Alberto Contador: zero, zero, zero, zero) against Byrol Uymaz, which she lost 15-0, 15-0 in ten and eight innings.

Also very remarkable was the match of the Dutchman Stefan Rutten, who lost 15-1, 15-1 against his Turkish opponent Mehmet Aksoy. The Turk by the way played the best average of the day. He ended 2.142 with two wins in his group: a victory in his duel with Stefan Rutten (15-1, 15-1 in 7 and 6 innings) and against Tünjamin Tasdogan (15-7, 15-8 in 9 and 6). Umit Demircan was second with 1.395, third Yaan Caliscan 1.176.

On Wednesday Aksoy will play in the next round with Vagelis Moulos. The most notable groups are the group C with Jose Maria Mas, Yilmaz Özcan and Emilio Sciacca, D with In-Won Kang and Gerhard Kostistansky, I with Carlos Crespo and Pierre Soumagne and O with Birol Uymaz and Kostas Papakonstantinou.
