Javier Palazón is fighting for his last chance

SCHILTIGHEIM - ,,Tomorrow is another day, I must play better'', Javier Palazón said yesterday after the lost match against Haeng Jik Kim. The Spanish winner of the bronze medal at the World championship in Sluiskil this afternoon (14.00) will meet Eric Tromas from France, who lost his first match against Cédric Melnytschenko.

Palazón and Tromas are fighting for their last chance to survive in this qualification round in poule 6. The two winners of day one, Haeng Jik Kim with an average over two and Cédric Melnytschenko, compete for the first place in the group on the other table. The Korean, eighteen years, who learned billiard from his father and now lives in Mannheim, was the revelation on the first day of this qualification session. He beat Palazón in an excellent match (40-1 in19 innings).

The matches of this afternoon at 14.00:

Javier Palazón-Eric Tromas (billiard 1)

Haeng Jik Kim-Cédric Melnytschenko (billiard 2).
