LUNEL - French top player Magali Declunder has taken the title in free game in her country. That was not a surprise: the player from Andernos is by far the best in French and played a new record average: 54.54 on the match table.

Two consecutive wins against Brigitte Carquet (150-0 in three innings, run 147) and against Christine Morel (150-5 in four, run 111), preceded by two wins in two innings showed Declunder's dominance. She defeated Céline Jacques in the semi-final even with the maximum run of 150. And in the final game Veronique Ales was overpowered by the champion: 150-2, run of 76.

With her total score, Declunder broke her last year's record when she made 600 in 12 innings, now she needed one inning less for the maximum of caroms.

Second in the tournament was Veronique Ales, averaging 6.25 average and include victories over Céline Jacques and Brigitte Gaultier, the girl that she also beat in the semi-finals 150-29 in 14 innings.

The podium was completed by Céline Jacques (average 3.67) and Brigitte Gaultier (3.56).
