Markus Dömer won his match with the highest average of the day in the bundesliga.

ESSEN - The leader in the German Bundesliga, the team of Horster Eck, was in action with top players like Torbjörn Blomdahl and Martin Horn this weekend. But Markus Dömer, the fourth man in the rank of the top team, played the best match over two days. The German finished his forty caroms in only twenty innings, averaging 2.000.

Today Horster Eck wasted the first match point in this competition. In the away match the leader played 4-4 against BSV Velbert. Martin Horn and Thorsten Frings won their matches, Haeng Jik Kim lost to Henk Habraken, Volker Simanovski defeated Frank Eversmann.

The Esser team nevertheless stays on the lead with an advantage of four points over BC Elversberg, the team that won on Saturday the match against BSV Velbert 6-2. The most remarkable match in this encounter was the duel between Jens Eggers and Johan Schirmbrand. The game ended in a draw, 50-50, Schirmbrand made a run of fifteen.

Horster Eck won on Saturday with the maximum score of 8-0 against BFR Sterkrade. Torbjörn Blomdahl defeated Jean van Erp, his teammate in the Netherlands, 50-41 in 27 innings. Martin Horn won his match in 26 innings. BC Elversberg showed himself an excellent number two in the rank by a 6-2 victory over Sterkrade.
