Martin Horn outplayed Dustin Jäschke in the final match for the title

BAD WILDUNGEN - At German championship all disciplines, Martin Horn made his come-back with the title in three cushion. Four years ago, Horn played his last championship and lost in the semi-final to the champion Christos Christodoulidis. This year, Horn received a wildcard from the DBU and conquered the golden medal.

For the new German champion Horn was the road to the title not a walk-over. Still, in the quarterfinals against his team-mate Norbert Roestel, Horn shone with 40-13 in 25. Only in the semi-final against Andreas Niehaus, Horn was forced to a strong fight at the end. The player from Coesfeld outplayed the title defender Ronny Lindemann in the quarterfinals 40-37. Niehaus was beaten by Horn 40-35 in 21.

Dustin Jäschke shone in the group stage, among others, against Lindemann with a 16-innings win.
