Maxime Panaia, second title in a row in France

LA BAULE - In the final weekend at the World Cup, the French Junior championship was played in La Baule. Maxime Panaia from Colmar, who beat Nathan Duriez in the final 30-26 in 39 innings, took his second title in a row. Panaia closed the tournament with a general average of 0.909, Duriez finished with 0.913.

The podium was completed by Enzo Riquart (Vignacourt), who played the best average (1.000) and Abdelghani Refassi (Romans sur Isere), 0.794.
 
In the semifinals Panaia bested Refassi 30-20 in 21 (1.428) and Nathan Duriez was the better of Enzo Riquart, 30-27 in 29 after starting 15-2 in 8 innings.
 
Roman Leduc (St Quentin), Rémi Chenay (Saint Gaudens), Johan Godel (Erstein) and Quentin Marcu (Blagnac) were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
