IZMIR - At the end of 2018 and after four Turkish Grand Prix tournaments were completed, Murat Naci Coklu is the number one ranked player. Second on the ranking is Lütfi Cenet. Semih Sayginer won the last tournament in Izmir in the final against Lütfi Cenet. Murat Naci Coklu is the new Turkish champion after two victories and two third places. He will represent Turkey with Lütfi Cenet at the World championship for national teams in Viersen next year.
In the fourth and final tournament, with the best 32 players on the ranking, Semih Sayginer won the final against Lütfi Cenet 40-29 in 16 innings. The two finalists defeated Murat Naci Coklu and Tarik Yavuz in the semi-finals. Sayginer was the better of Coklu 40-25 in 18, Cenet beat Yavuz 40-27 in 24.
Vice minister Hamza Yerlikaya of Youth and Sports attended the tournament on the final day. He handed out the prizes to the podium.
