Danielle le Bruyn won the final against Jamie Buelens.

The 53-year-old Danielle le Bruyn had won two Belgium in three years so far. Nevertheless she was on the top of her nerves two hours before the final in the three cushion for ladies. ,,I'm already sweating like crazy'', she said candidly.
Jamie Buelens, almost 23 years, looked very uninhibited, without any stress. ,,Billiards is just a hobby, you know'', she said they soberly. Though of course she was a little bit nervous, playing a final in a full house.
Danielle le Bruyn later in the afternoon became Belgian champion in a match to fifteen points. The score was 15-12 in 34 innings, an average of 0,441 for the winner and 0,352 for the loosing finalist.
Danielle Le Bruyn is not a stranger in billiards. She is playing since she was fifteen. ,,We had a billiard cafe at home and now I am the owner myself. We have our billiard cafe in Zoersel with eight tables and a Belgian team in the highest league with Martin Horn, Alan Jensen, Wesley Jaeger and Bart Ceulemans.''
Jamie Buelens is a student teacher secondary education. She took billiard lessons from Eddy Merckx and Pierre van de Plas. ,,It's not that we had a lot of progression, therefore we don't play enough. If you look to the Netherlands, there you have Therese Klompenhouwer, she's a professional, she doesn't have to work. we need to.''
The final between the two players went up to 11-11, then Le Bruyn attacked with a run of four to the finish. Buelens made one more point in the equalizer.
