RONCHIN - The French championship in the multidiscipline has inaugurated its first champions in Ronchin. Olivier Careaux (Soissons) won the title in the free game with 200.000 average. He prolonged his last years victory in Saint-Maur and realized exactly the same average.

With four wins in a row, in 1, 2, 2 and 3 innings, the champion showed his brilliance as a specialist in the American run. He bested his competitors with his qualities: missteps are quickly punished in this discipline, the champion made the least.

He obtained the best average, played the best match and the highest run, which he shared with Eric Castaner, Pascal Dessaint, Jean-François Florent and Benoit Legros.
Careaux recorded 200.00, Legros 186.50, Castaner 166.60.

Benoit Legros, who played a marathon on the last day and later became champion in balk-line 71/2, was an excellent second on stage, with furthermore Jean-Francois Florent and Eric Castaner.
