Papakonstantinou winner after three shootouts

ATHENS - The Greek player Kostas Papakonstantinou was victorious at the Open Academy tournament in Athens in a final match against Filippos Kasidokostas. In the semi-finals Papakonstantinou got the better of Nikos Polychronopoulos 40-37 in 29. Kasidokostas defeated Kostas Kokoris 40-33 in 30.

Dionisis Tskokantas and Kostas Papakonstantinou recorded the highest run (12), Kostas Kokoris played the best match: 2.222.

The Open Academy was played with a total of 112 participants in the thirty-year-old Academy of Billiards, a thousand meters from Omoneia Square in the center of Athens. The club was opened by Vaggelis Artinopoulos for his two sons thirty years ago.
