Patrick Niessen is unbeaten with two matches both in one inning in te free game.

With the maximum run of 400 caroms in just one hour Patrick Niessen this afternoon not only won his match in the free game against Eddy Leppens with 400-0 in one inning. After two wins in two matches he is also the unbeaten leader in this discipline. Philippe Deraes is his main competitor with three points in two matches.
Eddy Leppens may consider that he's out of the game after his costly mistake in the first inning against Niessen. The all-rounder from Leopoldsburg may concentrate now on the other disciplines, despite of his loss against Frédéric Caudron this afternoon in the 47/2.
Patrick Niessen is still in the running in the free game, the balklines 47/2 and 71/2. He had only two defeats on a row in his one cushion matches.
In the free game Niessen finished both matches against Marc Janssen and Eddy Leppens in one inning.
