PELOPONNESE - The junior World championship  is one and a half round on its way and the audience is still impressed by Myung-Woo Cho’s demonstration in the first session. The Korean’s match (25 in 12 innings) is by far the best after twelve matches in four groups on the first day.

The fifteen year old Myung-Woo Cho is seen now as one of the main contenders and competitors in the battle with amongst others Omer Karakurt and Pedro Reyes. The Turkish number two at the World championship last year, played surprisingly a draw against Pedro Reyes from Ecuador in his second match of the day.

The Frenchman Adrian Tachoire made a painful misstep against Sanchez Cristian, the Colombian who needed 40 innings for his first match, but finished in 19 innings against Tachoire: 25-16.

Cristian has four match points now and 0.847, Tachoire is the number two in the group with two points and 1.078.

Omer Karakurt is the leader in Group B with three match points and 1.612 ahead of Pedro Reyes with 3 points and 1.315.

Group C and group D have only completed one round so far: Myung Woo Cho is the very best of sixteen players with 2.083 average.
