Luis Aveiga showed his flamboyant style to the audience in Viersen.

VIERSEN - On his seat in the arena Luis Aveiga, the very purified player from Ecuador, watched his compatriot Javier Teran, who was so close to the win against Sweden's Peter Lohmander. The South Americans could take an option winnen the group, in which they later meet the team of the home country Germany.

Luis Aveiga had won his match against David Pennör in his fast and flamboyant style, especially in the second set, when he ran furious over his opponent: 15-4 in 6 innings. Javier Teran looked on his way to the win too against Peter Lohmander, who has tied his long hair in a nice tail. But at 1-1 in sets and a 13-7 lead in the decisive third, Teran made two costly mistakes. Lohmander suddenly smelled his chance and finished the match in the tenth inning with a wonderful run of eight.

The Swedes will act as executioner in this Group and will put in heavy artillery with Torbjörn Blomdahl and Nalle Olsson to stay in the race.
