MAGDEBURG - The German three cushion league has a new leader after 3 and 4 match days. The BC Magdeburg leads the table with 7 points out of three matches. Two teams follow the leader with the same match points out of 4 matches. Without Dick Jaspers, the Magdeburgers survived the season start of the season. With the Dutchman, the team knocked down BC International in Berlin this weekend, 8-0. The Dutchman was the best man in Berlin with a victory over Martin Horn: 40-27 in 14 innings. The Belgian Ronny Brants was on fourth place on Sunday and was the best man with a match win in 23 innings. Francis Forton outplayed his country man Peter Ceulemans in 25 and young man Tobias Bouerdick was the better of Dustin Jäschke. On Sunday, the Bottrop team showed up with its Dutch players Glenn Hoffman and Jean van Erp. Hofman put Philipoom's head on the block, 40-18 in 21. Van Erp was beaten by Savas Bulut 40-38.

German champion BCC Witten gathered four points in the double appearance. The team drew with Elversberg and won against Bergisch Gladbach 6-2. Remarkable matches in the double weekend: Jacob Haack-Sörensen and Ronny Lindemann won their matches against Dave Christiani and Dustin Jäschke in 25 innings. Greek Papakostantinou shared the points with Eddy Merckx in 25 innings. Jean-Paul de Bruijn defeated Johann Schirmbrand in 27 innings.

BCC Witten is on third position now behind Magdeburg and Bottrop.
