ZUNDERT - The Dutch championship for teams, with the title holder Van Donge en De Roo as the big favorite and Crystal Kelly as the important challenger, will be played in De Vroone in Kapelle in the first week of June. The KNBB told it to the team managers during the cup final in Zundert this weekend. Other countries, like France and Spain, are in the final phase too.

In Germany and Belgium the champions are known with still one round to play. Horster Eck is the champion in Germany, BC Deurne is celebrating the title in Belgium this week.

Horster Eck meets the number two in the ranking, BC Elversberg on the last day of the league. BC Deurne will not only celebrate the title, but it's also a farewell party for the two top players Eddy Merckx and Jef Philipoom, who leave for another team after the season.

In France there is still one more match in the group stage. The defending champion Agipi is already seeded, just like Laxou and Andernos. They will definitely play the playoffs. The last match decides whether Courbevoie or Clichy Montmartre is the fourth team. The battle for the championship will be played in Schiltigheim.

In Spain the championship will been played with eight teams in the week after the World Cup in Mexico. The eight teams are divided into two groups of four. The final will be played in Tommeloso.
