Raymond Ceulemans defeated his grandson Peter and played a draw with Martens Cleaning.

HAARLO - The battle for the top four places in the Dutch league, entitling to a place in the playoffs, promises to be an exciting fight this year. The start of Frans Bevers was promising, but after seven rounds it seems that the team from Sluiskil is vulnerable and is not the only team to take over the leading role of the champion team of Van Donge en De Roo. TOVV.nl/MCR and A1 Biljarts made no mistakes this weekend, both teams won by 8-0.

With Frédéric Caudron as best man, but Peter de Backer, and Jean Paul de Bruijn who lost their matches, Frans Bevers spoiled another point in the seventh round against DBL Holland Mineraal: 4-4.

Jelle Pijl showed himself a bridge too far for Jean Paul de Bruijn 50-39 in 38. Glenn Hoffman took the match in balance, Caudron dominated the whole match against Stefan Galla after a glittering start with 40 in 11 innings. He won 50-29 in 20 with a highest run of twelve.

The decision to win or tie had to fall in the match between Anno de Kleine and Peter de Backer. De Kleine came to the finish at 50/44, De Backer scored five points from the break off and missed the last carom.

TOVV.nl/MCR and A1 Biljarts both made no mistake: the Vlaardingen team won 8-0 against Hatrans/Twente, A1 Biljarts defeated Van den Broek in Osdorp with the same score.

Eddy Merckx had a difficult start for TOVV (eight points in 13 innings), but reached the finish in only 22 innings.
Haeng Jik Kim showed his talent in the Agipi Masters last week, but lost after his return in the Netherlands 50-24 against Raimond Burgman, who made a run of ten for A1 Biljarts. Michael Nilsson defeated Inwong Kang with smaller difference: 50-42 in 37.

The most remarkable match in this round was the match between Raymond Ceulemans and grandson Peter in De Vroone in Kapelle, where Snellen Recycling and Martens Cleaning faced each other. ´The bomba´, as Raymond is called bys grandsons, showed his undeniable class again and won 50-42 in 28 innings.

Martens Cleaning grabbed one point in the duel, because also Henk Habraken showed himself strong against Barry van Beers (50-37 in 35).

Gerwin Valentijn was one of the best players of this seventh matchday with a match in eighteen innings against Stefan Hetzel. Thorsten Frings was also in a shining form. The German scored 29 points in 10 innings sessions and defeated Jef Philpoom 50-27 in 28 innings.
