Raymond Ceulemans saves point for Mister 100 Lier

Eddy Leppens defeated Kurt Ceulemans

LIER - The great legend of billiard showed his high class on an important moment for his team. Raymond Ceulemans yesterday saved a point for Mister 100 Lier in the match with BC Kasteeldreef. The master took an early lead against Peter Duytschaever and finished without any resistance: 42-22 in 26 innings, average 1.615 for Raymond. He was the best player of the team, that maintained the second position on the ranking one point behind BC Geox Herentals.

Frédéric Caudron against Peter Ceulemans (50-37 in 24 innings) and Eddy Leppens against Kurt Ceulemans (50-34 in 28 innings) were the winners in the team of Kasteeldreef, after Raymond and Koen Ceulemans gave BC 100 an adventage with 2-0.

KBC Zanzibar had not such a great evening and came to a draw with Op de Meir, the last team in the ranking. Roland Forthomme defeated Wim van Cromvoirt 50-30 in 36 innings, Dave Christiani won his match against Rudy de Laet 50-27 in 37. Kees Wittens and Tom Persijn earned the matchpoints for Op de Meir.
