ZUNDERT - The victory was for the team of Snellen Recycling, but Roland Forthomme, the frontman of the team, still doesn't have the great form that he will need for a strong performance in the semifinals. The Belgian lost the match against his compatriot with almost the same name, Francis Forton, 2-1. The other three players of Snellen won their matches.
Peter Ceulemans did so with a wonderful score. He won the first two sets against Frank Martens in five and six innings, lost the third, but played over the whole match an average of 2.352.
Harry van der Ven defeated Ad Broeders 2-1, Barry van Beers won his match against Jack Wijnen with the maximale score (3-0). The young Dutchman could be prowd of his average as well: 1.730.
Snellen Recycling plays in the semi-finals against Van Donge en De Roo tomorrow. Crystal Kelly, the winner of the other group, meets Delta.
