Roland Forthomme secured one point for Snellen by winning his match against Dion Nelin 50-33 in 21 innings. ,,I made a nine and a ten, that provided me the gap to keep him far behind'', Forthomme said. Jef Philipoom and John Tijssens collected the points for opponent Dekker Keukens. Philipoom beat Peter Ceulemans 50-35, Tijssens beat Jan Arnouts 50-28 in 31.
Dick Jaspers was the proud leader in the team of the defending champion Van Donge & De Roo against De Vrachtkar. The Dutch and European champion beat Johan Loncelle 50-43 in 24 innings with a run of 14 in the 16th inning. Jean van Erp took the win against René van Beers, Ad Koorevaar just with one point against René Peters.
Emar Logistics surprises until now in the highest league. The team beat Twentevisie 6-2 thanks to wins of Francis Forton against Christian Rudolph (50-41 in 38), Frank Martens against Anno de Kleine (50-39 in 36) and Ad Broeders against Stefan Lenting (50-33 in 43).
