Ryuuji Umeda plays with Sung-Won Choi for the leading position

SCHILTIGHEIM - Will the 33-year old Korean Sung-Won Choi be able to play on the same level as yesterday in his match against his countryman Kyung-Roul Kim? And is Ryuuji Umeda, the 42-year old former world champion, a dangerous competitor for the leader in the poule 5 of the qualifications? The fact is that the Japanes must be on his best to continue his victory march.

The audiance in the Agipi arena is ready for another attractive performance. Because on the other billiard there are two players without matchpoints until now. That's painful for Kyung-Roul Kim, the number three in the world ranking, but also for Jérôme Barbeillon, who played a realy good match, but was beaten by Umeda in the crucial innings.

There are new chances this afternoon. Kyung-Roul Kim and Jérôme Barbeillon meet each other, the winner remains in the race, the looser of that match is almost for sure eliminated.

Sung-Won Choi and Ryuuji Umeda play for the leading position in the poule.

The matches start at 17.30. Premium pass holders of Kozoom can follow them live on Kozoom.com
