HURGHADA - The Arabian title in three cushion is won by Sameh Sidhom, who defeated Mohssen Foda in the final. The Egypt B team with Ihab El Messery and Khaled Salem took the team title.

The strong Egyptian pair with Sameh Sidhom and Mohssen Foda gathered the same points for the rank, but was placed low on the list because of the rules in the Arabic organisation: two teams from the same country cannot finish on top of the ranking.

Therefore, Lebanon was second, three points behind, ahead of Jordan. The other two participating countries were Palestine and Algeria.

The Egyptian players Sameh Sidhom, Mohssen Foda and Maged Elias finished on top of the individual rankings. Antwan Golam from Lebanon was fourth ahead of Egyptians Ihab El Messery and Khaled Salem. In the final match Sidhom was superior to Mohssen Foda: 40-23 in 18 innings (2.220/1.280).

The tournament was played at the Sunrise Garden Beach Hotel in Hurgahda in the days before the start of the World Cup.

The final score of the individual tournament:
1 Sameh Sidhom (Egypt) 1.51 average
2 Mohssen Foda (Egypt) 0.94
3 Maged Elias (Egypt) 0.77
4 Antwan Golam (Lebanon) 0.66
5 Ihab El Messery (Egypt) 1:00

Rank of the team tournament:
1 Egypt B (Ihab El Messery, Khaled Salem)
2 Lebanon
3 Jordan
4 Libya
