Sánchez beats Tasdemir in final match Arena cup

ISTANBUL - The Spaniard Dani Sánchez has won the tournament for the Arena Cup in Istanbul. He defeated Tayfun Tasdemir in the final match 40-28 in 20 innings. The final day of the tournament had a strong line-up with Dani Sánchez, Torbjörn Blomdahl and the Turks Tayfun Tasdemir and Can Capak in the semifinals.

The semi-final had a particularly high level. Tasdemir defeated Blomdahl 40-28 in sixteen innings. Sánchez also needed only sixteen innings for the win in his match against Can Capak (40-14).

The tournament was played with preliminaries, Dani Sanchez and Torbjörn Blomdahl entered the arena in the knock out phase for the last 32.
