Shining performance from Ceulemans-team in Belgium

LIER - The team that's called Mister 100 Lier, with Peter Ceulemans, Kurt Ceulemans, Raymond Ceulemans and Koen Ceulemans, had a scintillating start in the Belgian competition. The four players averaged a total of 1.718, which was the highest ever for this team and very remarkable in the Belgian competition for teams. Mister 100 won the match agains BC Deurne 6-2, only Kurt Ceulemans lost against Jef Philipoom, but also this sun of the great Raymond played an average of 1.535 with a high run of thirteen.

The Ceulemans boys played excellent in their own billiardpalace. Peter beated Eddy Merckx 50-31 in 22 innings, Peter averaged 2.272, Merckx 1.409. The master himself, Raymond, also had a brilliant day, playing an average of 2.000 against Davy van Haveren (42-18 in 21 innings).

The two top players won their match in a great performance. Caudron as well as Leppens finished his match of 50 points in 21 innings, with an average of 2.380. The other players in the team lost their match.

BC Quality Zele took the victory against Op de Meir 6-2. The only player that lost in the winning team was Jean Paul de Bruijn. Wim van Cromvoirt made a highist run of fourteen for Op de Meir.
