ANDERNOS - Five full rounds in a league with six teams must decide which team will take the team title in French this season. The European champion Agipi defends the title and once again is the big favourite to win the battle. The five competitors are Andernos, Laxou, Albert, Gravelines and Kozoom.
The first meeting has been played forward: Andernos won the local derby against Kozoom 6-2. The other two matches for this round will be played on 11 October, when Agipi starts off in a home match against Albert and Laxou plays against Gravelines.
Roland Forthomme was the only winner for Kozoom in the match against Andernos. The Belgian overpowered Dick Jaspers in an excellent match (50-40 in 27 innings and ran a nine. In the other three matches triumphed Andernos. Francis Connesson had a perfect finish against Marc Boingnères: 50-36 in 36. Jérôme Barbeillon-Frédéric Mottet ended with 50-39 in 40 and Filippos Kasidokostas knocked down Peter De Backer in the best match of the evening: 50-32 in 24 innings.
The Andernos team averaged 1.507, Kozoom 1.256.

The final round is played on 4 and 5 May in the Agipi arena in Schiltigheim.
