Carlos Anguita took the European title in Brandenburg

NAREJOS - Three Koreans, three Spaniards and four South Americans come to the start of the Junior World championship three cushion, which is played from 15 to 17 September in the Spanish city of Narejos. The Europeans are with seven players. Myung-Woo Cho is the reigning world champion. He took that title in El Gouna, Egypt, last year in the final against his countryman Jung Ju Shin. The Spaniard Carlos Anguita was the European champion in Brandenburg this year.

The 19-year-old Korean Myung-Woo Cho was the best in his country two weeks ago and is again the big favourite with a 1.600 starting average. Jung-Ju Shin, the young Korean who will play five matches in the Dutch league for Dallinga next season, even has a starting average of 1.981 on his name.

The tournament is organized by the Spanish federation in the town of Narejos, not far from Murcia. Two years ago, the European championship was played in this arena. The Spaniard Arrion, who took the title in the final against German Tom Löwe, is not allowed to play the World championship because of his age.

The group format for the World championship in Narejos:

Group A:
Myung-Woo Cho (South Korea)

Group B:
