South Americans blunder: no Viersen

VIERSEN - The South American confederation has forgotten to sign up three national teams for the World championship three cushion in Viersen. That means for the organisation that the whole schedule and number of partizipations had to be changed: the championship will nog be played with 24 teams, but with eighteen. Three counties, Turkey, Germany and the Netherlands are not allowed to participate with a second team.

The UMB (world federation) has changed the entire program after the deadline for registration on January 28. The World championship was planned to be played with 24 teams: eighteen A-teams, three South American teams and the three B teams from Turkey, the Netherlands and the host country Germany.

The absence of the South Americans, who were present in Viersen last year with Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador, had now reduced the schedule to eighteen teams. The UMB assumes that the confederation has forgotten the deadline to sign up their countries and applied the rules.

The second Turkish team with Adnan Yüksel and Murat Naci Coklu, the second German team with Stefan Galla and Jens Eggers and the Dutch Burgman Raimond and Jean Paul de Bruijn have been send now to the reserve list.

How is it possible, the misstep of the South-American confideration to not sign up their countries for the World championship? Because of their new president? Because of the Mexican conflict with the UMB? And if they forgot the deadline, why didn't the UMB send them a mail to remember? Very strange, but very bad for the tournament.

..and how it can be if they don`t remember them , that they don`t put that second teams into the tournament ?? because they can save money ?? because they don`t care ?? or because they are Sleepers ??
We will have a answer , because this needs a answer - in Politics people loose their job !! for this failure !
