Spanish qualifications for classic games

BARCELONA - Three groups of three teams competed in Spain for the finals in the classic games. Four teams were qualified for the final round.

Group A: CB Sueca (with Esteve Mata, Raul Cuenca and Jordi Garriga) took the victory ahead of CB Almussafes (Vicente Arbona, Vicente Garces, Jose Felguera) and CB Granada (Francisco Mira, Javier Moral Castro, Antonio Alonso) .
Sueca advanced to the finals.

Group B: Excurs Eldense (Salvador Lacarcel, Jose Albert Tornero and Rafael Garcia) ended up as the winner, Madrid Escuela was second with Alejandro Jil, Alvaro Gomez and Adrian Legazpi, the last finisher was Alcantara Billar (Pedro Pablo Garcia, Benito de la Fuente, Jose Luis Pelaez).

The top two finishers in this group are qualified.

Group C: Coral Colon, with Jordi Gasso, Juan Jose Barrientos, Joan Espinasa and Frenchman Alain Remond finished ahead of SBF Molins de Rei (Luis Miguel Gonzales, Carles Mallol Tuset, Jose Miguel Marquez) and CB Lleida (Carmelo Garces , Armando Moreno, Eduard Calzada).
