Martin Spoormans tied in his match with Caudron.

LOVENDEGEM - Martin Spoormans has done it many times before in his career: to beat Frédéric Caudron or to temper him on his way to another victory. The Belgian champion in many disciplins and the veteran, who is so alround in many disciplins of billiard, tied yesterday evening in their match for the league: 50-50 in 26 inings. De Kasteeldreef, the team of Caudron, dropped to the ninth place in the ranking after loosing again important points.

BC Lugo Deurne won the match 5-3, because Erik Hendrickx, by the way in a marathon of 63 innings, beat Peter Duytschaver and Marc Janssen defeated home player Piet Rodts. With the tie of Spoormans, BC Lugo took the full win.

Martin Horn was the only winner in the team of De Ploeg in the duel with Mr. 100. The German defeated Peter Ceulemans 50-42 in 39. Kurt, Raymond and Koen Ceulemans won their matches, Koen even against the 'little' Bart Ceulemans, which plays for the opponent. Kurt Ceulemans shined with a run of eleven, Raymond once again shone with the highest average of the evening. The champion of all champions played his match of 42 points in 19 innings.

Kon. Kortrijkse had no problems with Op de Meir, thanks to wins of Ronny Brants and the two French players Richard Bitalis and Céderic Melnytschenko.

BC Quality Zele was defeated in his own home by BC Geox Herentals. The only one who won was Jean Paul de Bruijn, who beat Christian Rudolph 50-40 in a very acceptable match of 32 innings. Dion Nelin won the duel of the top players beating Peter de Backer 50-39 in 26 innings.
