Sruong Pheavy winner Supercup in Korea

SEOUL - The Korean three-cushion top is on its way for Supercup for men and women this weekend in Seoul. Sruong Pheavy was already cheered as the women's winner after a final against Hyunji Yong. The men start the final day of the tournament this Sunday with the quarter-finals. The event is played in the Olympia Hall of the Olympic Park hotel in Seoul. The winner for men receives 37,500 euros, the winner at the women 3,000 euros.

The best eight players to show up in the quarterfinals today are:

Seongha Yun-Jung-Han Heo
HaengJik Kim-Jun-Tae Kim
Jae-Ho Cho-Choong-Bok Lee.

The preliminary rounds were played at different locations near Seoul, the main tournament started with 32 players.  The qualifications were played with 46 groups of three players.  Fifty players were automatically seeded. The top four in the men's are rewarded with 37,500 euros, 15,000 euros and 7,500. The top four at the women: 3,000 euros, 1,500 and 750.
