ISTANBUL - The second Turkish ranking tournament is won by Tayfun Tasdemir after a great performance in the last rounds. The leader in the ranking, who also triumphed in the first tournament, finished in the tournament in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul, with a magnificent average: 2.197.
Tayfun played his final matches on world class level: in the final he defeated Yilmaz Özcan 40-17 in 12 innings, in the semifinals he was a way too strong for Lütfi Cenet: 40-12 in 13 innings.
In the other semifinal, Yilmaz Özcan was the winner in the match against Hakan Incekara: 40-37 in 32.
The tournament was played with a total number of 424 players.
