PORCIA - The most famous Italian team Green Planet Gold has taken another title at the Italian team championship. Te champion team with Marco Zanetti and Dani Sánchez defeated Selinus in the final match 6-2. The final match was very close, especially in the first part. Dani Sánchez led clearly over Savas Bulut but Marco Zanetti was down 26-16 against Ahmet Alp. Efler and Sciacca were in balance (22-20) and so were Gaiotti and Orlando, 20-20. In rhw second part Sánchez beat Bulut, 40-26 in 20). Zanetti came back very strong on Alp and won 40-35 in 31. Efler also won against Sciacca in 34 and the last game was interrupted when Gaiotti was leading 38-31.
Green Planet Gold (Sanchez, Zanetti, Efler, Gaiotti) took the title for fourth consecutive time. Second was Selinus (Bulut, Alp, Sciacca, Orlando), third La Biglia (Papa, Cortese, Turla, Vispo), fourth SB revival (Di Tacchio, D'agata, Matera, Scaramuzzi, D'addario).

In Group A: Green Planet Gold, 1.129, second SB revival 0.655
In Group B: Selinus 0.935, second la Biglia, 0.728.
Semifinal Selinus-SB Revival
Except Ahmet Alp, who wins easily (40-16 in 27) against the young D'agata, all other three games were closed at least untill the middle of the match. After the pause all Selinus players accelerate and the match finisched 4-0.
Semifinal Green Planet Gold - La Biglia
Strong games Sanchez and Zanetti (run of 16) with wins in 14 and 16 innings, win of Efler over Sciacca in 44 innngs and last game interrupted when Vispo led 35-22 against Gaiotti 35-22
