PARIS - The teams of Albert and Andernos have played 4-4 in their match this evening. The most remarkable game was the confrontation between Peter Ceulemans (Albert) and Roland Forthomme (Andernos). The young Ceulemans took an early lead and never was threatend by his more experienced compatriot. Ceulemans won 50-17 in 24 innings with an average of 2.083.
The other teampoints for Albert were gathered by Cédric Melnytschenko. The young French player beat good old Francis Connesson with only two points: 50-48 in 42 innings with a run of nine for Melnytschenko.
Marc Boingons (Andernos) won the match with Olivier Jonard (50-34 in 45), Peter de Backer made the draw for Andernos by beating Kurt Ceulemans 50-33 in 33 innings.
