The inauguration of the giant EC banner

BRANDENBURG - There are only four weeks left until the start of the European carom championship in Brandenburg on the Havel. The preparations are in full swing. The CEB invited to the official press conference at the Axxon hotel this week. The main guest was Brandenburg's Lord Mayor, Dr. Dietlind Tiemann. Several journalists from daily and weekly newspapers and a co-worker of a TV-station visited the conference.

The committee consisted of Mr. Bennie Deegers, CEB's vice president, co-organiser Mrs. Helga Blawid and Germany's head coach, Mr. Gerd Kunz. All three answered numerous questions elaborately and to the satisfaction of all parties.

Also of very great interest was the inauguration of a giant EC-banner right off one of Brandenburg's most frequented main roads, which took place immediately before the press conference.
