The only match the opponent took was signed by Frédéric Caudron, who defeated Dick Jaspers (50-39 in 29 innings).
Today was also the day of Hans van der Wurf in the league. The eternal loser in the team of Dekker Keukens had a never seen, flying start in his match with Henri Tilleman of DBL Holland Mineral. With a magnificent run of twelve Van der Wurf had twenty caroms on the scoreboard after eight innings. Then, of course, he lost his rhythm, his score stopped and Van der Wurf lost 50-35 in 73 innings!

He finished in style with 50-44 in 25. Jean van Erp, also in excellent shape, led the whole match sovereign against Raymond Ceulemans and won 50-42 in 26 innings.
Frédéric Caudron and Dick Jaspers did not play in their mutual match on their highest level, although the match was fascinating from the start to the end. The Belgian attacked in the beginning with small runs and stayed on the lead until the finish.
Snellen Recycling remained at third place in the ranking by a comfortable 8-0 against Verbrugge Hyundai. Roland Forthomme was the best man for the home team (23 innings), however Spoormans made a run of eleven. Peter Ceulemans and Barry van Beers each needed 27 innings to come to the finish.
Wesley Jaeger, who complained for days about an upcoming flu, was the only winner in the team of De Vrachtkar, even in a beautiful game (50-23 in 25 innings) against Ronny Brants.
