CORFU - On the Greek island of Corfu, the semi-finals will be played today at the Royal Pro international invitational tournament for teams. The four teams that have advanced from the fifteen participating teams are Egypt and DL Sails Royal Pro, which play against each other (12.00) and Austria Pottendorf playing against Denmark (13.30).
The participating teams were Austria (Pottendorf), Denmark, Portugal (Leca), Egypt, Austria WBA, Mixed Grill 1 and Mixed Grill 2, Switzerland, where UMB board man Torsten Danielson had to cancel because of UMB matters (he was replaced by Adib Soliman from Egypt, Mixed Grill with 3 players from Corfu, Ioannina, DL sails Pro-Royal Thessaloniki and four teams from local Corkyra.
Teams from the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain and Turkijke moisten cancel due to national obligations.
The first five teams and three best runners-up played knock-out on Saturday.
The tournament will be closed tonight with a farewell dinner hosted by the president of Macedonia, BC, Thessaloniki, Mr. Takis Agiannidis.
The best-known players are Sameh Sidhom, Andreas Efler, Rene Hendriksen, Johann Schirmbrand, Alan Jensen, Paul Bjerring, Johan Szivacs and Riad Nady.
