The World championship three cushion in Bordeaux for the next two years

CAIRO/BORDEAUX - The sports director of the UMB, Mr Farouk Barki, has announced the groups and schedule for the World championship three-cushion in Bordeaux. Sixteen groups of three players will play the preliminaries starting December 1. The winners of those groups advance to the knockouts in the main tournament.

The opening ceremony is on Tuesday, December 1st at 13.00. The start of the main tournament is Friday, December 4th at 14.00.

The most remarkable groups:

Group A with Sung-Won Choi, Jae Guen Kim and Tatsuo Arai.
Group C with Eddy Merckx, Semih Sayginer and Luis Aveiga.
Group D with Dick Jaspers, Ryuuji Umeda and Hyung Kon Kim.
Group G with Marco Zanetti, Xuan Cuong Ma and Jean van Erp
Group I with Jae Ho Cho, Nick Polychronopoulos and Andres Lizarazou
Group N with Jean Paul de Bruijn, Adnan Yüksel and Dion Nelin
Group O with Dong Koong Kang, Jérémy Bury and Christopher Tevez
