NIJKERK - Therese Klompenhouwer has been asked by the American Billiard federation giving ladies billiard an impulse in America. The European champion has undertaken a role as consultant in the training and development of young ladies.
The contacts are dating from August this year, when Klompenhouwer was participating in a tournament at the Carom Corner in New York, the former billiard room of Sang Chun Lee.
The Dutch three-cushion player is elaborating ideas and plans and will travel to America next year for further promotion.
