Frédéric Caudron and Dani Sánchez, two contenders for the win in Seoul

SEOUL - The draw for the super tournament in Seoul, the LG U + Cup, where the winner is rewarded by almost 60.000 euros, has delivered one group of death at least. Torbjörn Blomdahl, Dani Sánchez and HaengJik Kim, three champions with a rich palmares, meet in a group where only the winner advances to the semi-finals. The tournament starts tomorrow (Tuesday, November 8th) in the group matches, which are broadcast on Kozoom. The location is a shopping center in Seoul. The sixteen players who are invited are divided into four groups of four.

The Koreans played a national ranking tournament in the last few days. Sung-Won Choi won the final against HaengJik Kim: 40-38. In the last eight was also Dong Koong Kang, last year's winner in the LG U + Cup in a final with Dick Jaspers, who is not invited to the second edition.

Frédéric Caudron meets in Group A of the tournament three Koreans, of whom Jung Han Heo is the most feared. The group with Blomdahl, Sánchez and HaengJik Kim is completed by Choong Bok Lee. Group C is a mixture of players around the world with the young Korean Myung Woo Cho as one of the contenders. The title holder, Dong Koong Kang, plays against three other Koreans.
