NANCY - The French billiard player Mélanie Hallier won the first national women's tournament three cushion in Nancy. She beat Céline Jacques (Ronchin) in the final match 20-17 in 46 innings. It was the second victory for the player from Saint-Quentin after the win in Ronchin last year.

In the qualifications, Mélanie Hallier played her best match against Aurore Bellens, 20-6 in 36. In the semi-final, she beat Christine Morel with 20-18 in 38.

With 0.433 on average, Hallier was the best of this first national tournament. Céline Jacques finished second with 0.397 ahead of Christine Morel (0.420) and Natacha Corrion de Douai (0.282).

The second tournament will be played in Senlis on 3 and 4 February.
